Hi,

I'm new here and arrived because of a pop up that appears to be a windows security alert.

It tells me that I have Trojan-spy.HTML.bankfraud.dq.
Now a pop-up just showed up with Trojan-spy.win32.keylogger.aa

I'm running Windows XP home SP2.
AVG 7.5

Can anyone help, please?

Try running a scan with AVG in Safe Mode.

How to start Windows in Safe Mode

Thanks for your help. I tried that, but it was embedded in the system restore files. Then Avtivirus XP 2008 showed up as well.

I finally used system restore to go back to a configuration prior to the infection, then turned off system restore and it deleted many of the problem files.

Then I ran AVG in safe and normal modes and did a Kaspersky scan. All looks clear. May try Malwarebytes a well.

Thanks for the help.
