Lately, ive been having several issues
First, Internet Explorer will not open certain pages. It seems to be random, but a persistent problem. It looks like it is loading, but never finishes.
I can be using the same window, different tab and the other tab will load so i do not think the connection is the issue.
Also, in a 1/5 ratio when moving to another web page, it will send me to the Google Image Search page with the url typed on the search bar.
The odds of that happening are much higher when i try to load a page with more images (say, opening a friends list on myspace)

When i start my pc, a Windows Security Alert shows up, saying the firewall is turned off, as well as the malware protection provided by Windows Defender.
Now, i could be wrong but when i installed Panda Antivirus AV+FW it made the Panda firewall the default firewall and it would never telll me Defender was de-activated.

Last, the first time the security alert showed up, i thought a driver or software was the cause of the problem, so i tried to go back to a previous configuration using the Restore option. My unit D: is used for recovery, yet it kept telling me no previous restoration point was available, something im sure is wrong as it has the twice-per month recovery checkpoint.

Im running Windows Vista Home Premium and use Panda Antivirus AV+FW, actualized as today.
I always download security updates for every program i use, and run the complete virus scan at least once per week.
Please let me know what other information i can provide, as well as steps to fix the issues

Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and save it to your desktop.

• Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
• Double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
• When the installation begins, follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
• When installation has finished, make sure you leave both of these checked:
  • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
• Then click Finish.
• MBAM will automatically start and you will be asked to update the program before performing a scan. If an update is found, the program will automatically update itself. Press the OK button to close that box and continue. If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download them from here and just double-click on mbam-rules.exe to install.
• On the Scanner tab:
  • Make sure the "Perform Quick Scan" option is selected.
  • Then click on the Scan button.
• If asked to select the drives to scan, leave all the drives selected and click on the Start Scan button.
• The scan will begin and "Scan in progress" will show at the top. It may take some time to complete so please be patient.
• When the scan is finished, a message box will say "The scan completed successfully. Click 'Show Results' to display all objects found".
• Click OK to close the message box and continue with the removal process.
• Back at the main Scanner screen, click on the Show Results button to see a list of any malware that was found.
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When removal is completed, a log report will open in Notepad.
• The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
• Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.

Note: If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you may be asked to reboot your computer so it can proceed with the disinfection process. Reagardless if prompted to restart the computer or not, please do so immediately. Failure to reboot normally (not into safe mode) will prevent MBAM from removing all the malware.

Oh, no problem.
I ran Malwarebytes, and no malicious malware was found.

I also used the full scan, which took quite some time but found no infected objects either.

Let me ask you are you using the Windows or Panda firewall?
Check it by,Right-click on the Window Security Alert icon (which looks like a red shield) in the taskbar and click on “Open Security Center.”
It will tell you there what is on or off for that matter.

Wheni turn it on, it claims there is no firewall being used. If i activate Windows Defender, Panda shows a sign with 'firewall conflict' and asks me to turn one of them off. If i turn Defender off, Security update switches to 'no firewall being used' again.
Security Update also insists there is no malware software on, it even goes as far as to say no antivirus was found. Still, i see Panda with the full protection active.

I don't know why but I feel the Panda wall is the conflicting culprit. Disable it and enable one of the others and se if you still get the report.

Yes, if i disable it, i still have to turn on Windows Defender. After doing so, i get messages this time courtesy of Panda telling me no firewall is enabled.
Also, about the IExplorer issue, what can i do? Its really more frustrating than the Security Update thing.

I'd suggest uninstalling the Panda stuff and rebooting to see if you still have a problem. If you don't, then install a fresh copy of the Panda and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, then I'd have to suspect an issue from another program that doesn't play well with these items. (this brings to mind the thread, not long ago, with issues that appeared to be malware - and ended up being a program that tracks your PC in case it's stolen. It had virus-like traits, but wasn't a virus).

What can i do about the IExplorer issue though?
Ive tried reinstalling it and using Firefox and there is no difference.
