I am interested in learning linux, but I don't have any idea about which book I need to refer. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hello tossy,
http://www.linux.org/docs/online_books.html is a good list of Linux books.

Books? You could also download a Llive distro and start poking around? What's it gonna hurt? Nothing.
I recommend, in no particular order or preference:
Puppy
Grml (a little advanced but hey, you're a quick study!)
Mandriva Spring 2008.1
Damn Small Linux (nothing fancy at all)
Ubuntu (just because it's popular and braindead easy to mount your other partitions)
PCLinuxOS
DreamLinux
I personally don't like a few of the ones that I mentioned, but it's not about me, it's about you. Have at it.
