Hey all,

Everytime I try to run a program etc. Firefox, MS Word, or any other programs. I would always have this message that says:


C:\Windows\system32\clbdll.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.


The title of the message would be "program name.exe - Bad Image". The program name would change depending on which program I'm trying to run.

Mind helping me out here? FYI, I'm logging on as administrator using Windows Vista.

hi,,,, it looks like something has messed up in system32,,,,,, have you run your security,,, ie,,, your A/V and also run a spyware scan with a spyware scanner like superantispyware,,,, or what ever spyware scanner's you have if you cant get online to download SAS,,,,, if this come's up clean then try a system restore,,,, type,,,, system retore,,,, into the start menu search box and click on system restore then restore back to a point (date) where you did not have this problem, then if you can go online,, download SAS free version,, update the virus deffonitions and run a full scan in safe mode,

how to boot in safe mode
Windows Vista

1. Restart the PC.
2. As soon as the boot up begins, press the F8 key. It's more successful if you tap continually at F8 until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears
If you receive a "keyboard error" message, reboot the PC and start again. .
3. Using the arrow keys select Safe Mode if it is not selected.
4. Select Safe mode and then press Enter.
