I've never purchased an Amazon movie download before, so before I go ahead and spend the money on one, I have a question:

Can these movies be ripped to a blank DVD, and then be watched on a regular DVD player and TV set?

Thank you to all who take the time to reply.

I have TIVO and have rented some flicks from Amazon, according to TIVO I can't transfer the movie to disk or tape. Which is fine, the quality of the video is not as good as renting the disk from Blockbuster. And, once you start watching the movie you have 24 hours to finish it, then TIVO will automaticaly delete it... blink.gif

Don't know if this is what you are looking for....

Can I burn an Unbox video to a DVD?

Yes, you can burn Unbox videos to a DVD or other removable computer storage device for the purpose of backing up your videos. However, Unbox videos burned to a DVD will not be readable by a DVD player.

Thank you for the replies; that is what I wanted to know. I suppose that I'll just buy the actual DVD, and wait for it to come in the mail. Thanks again.
