Heey guys.

I'm looking for a piece of software that will let me watch and play DVDs that are either 1. Copy Protected or 2. from another region.

I don't want to do anything illegal like make copies, I just want to be able to watch these movies when I want without having to purchase any software.

I have already tried DVD Region + CSS free. My trial is over. It was a good program.

Most of you are probably thinking "why don't you just buy it?"
The answer is because I'm a cheapskate and I know theres got to be something that can do it for free smile.gif

Thanks in advance thumbup2.gif

You can change the code 5 times before it locks into the 5th code.
Region Code Settings
They do sell region-free DVD players
Animal
DVD Genie v4.10 Freeware
Site note states: Please note: all DVD drives as of 1 Jan 2000 are RPC-2, which means you can only switch the DVD drive's region 5 times. As garmanma states above as well.
DVD43 DVD43Free only works with Win2K and WinXP

Heey guys.

I own a region free DVD player but my TV that I have in my bedroom is being repaired so I have to watch movies on the computer.

Thanks Garmanma I was aware of the region code thing smile.gif

And thank you Animal, I'll give them a try :D
