Hi guys, I am having a problem with my audio. Yesterday i opened up my computer and resat the ram and then closed it back up. then i tried it out and everthing worked fine and today i wake up and everything works until i open windows media player, I play a song and it sound really echoy, so i just ignore it but then i open interned explorer and everytime i scroll up or down a screen the audio gets really staticy and distorted. I am running windows xp w/sp2. what could it be?

There are many posibilities as to the cause of the problem.

Have you checked the audio options in the control panel?
Did you make contact with the systems sound card?
Are you using audio hardware from creative of Realtek or other providers?
If so, look in the control panel for the providers options and check the settings for incorrect settings
Does the system media player have any third party enhancements?
Have you tried a different audio player?
