Hi,

I have tried to use the VPN feature on a Macbook (macbook 2,1 - intel core 2 duo, 2ghz, 1gb memory) to connect to a Windows Server 2003 and I get a message that it can't authenticate the connection. It's configured as a PPTP and the IP address is the same used from a windows xp computer using microsoft VPN.

How can I get this to work, or is it impossible?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Julie L.

What are you running on your Mac for an OS? 10.4.x, 10.5.x, etc.

Hi TVT,

Sorry for my delay. I was not able to figure out which version and the lady who owns it took it back.

You can close this topic as I figured a workaround so she does not need to use VPN at this time. I don't want to waste your time and do appreciate your asking for information to give a correct answer.

I'm new too and this was my first post. I've found invaluable information just from the posts and tutorials and just want to say I think you all are doing a tremendous job. I can only imagine the work involved to keep this website running. If there is anything I can do in return, let me know.

Best to you,
Julie
