Hi,

I have set up a Gallery using 'Gallery 2' from http://gallery.menalto.com/.
Unfortunatly, none of the pictures work mad.gif How do I fix this?
The link to the website is http://www.toynbee-leavers-08-gallery.co.cc

Thanks

did you upload the pix folders to the host to the host?
not sure how that album maker works, but there is usualy 3 folders, pictures, pages, and thumbnails, then the index file and possably some other files css, php ect, you must upload them all in the same position the album maker placed them on your computer

Sorry, but I didn't really understand what you said there. I 'm pretty sure I uploaded all the files that were needed because it installed on the webserver fine.
I'm gonna try 4images to see if that works. If so, then I will use that.

It is open to the public (so everyone can post images, yes I know its a security risk but it was hard trying to get people to set up an account), and I was playing around with the permissions so I don't know if its anything wrong with that or not, but I'm gonna try different online image galleries and see if they work the way I want them to.

well gallery2 is a good piece of software, have you checked the upload folder to check to see if the images are even being uploaded

EDIT: by the way i just uploaded a test image (the little walking dude from my signature) and i can see it just fine... have you changed anything

mckooter, the images where uploading to the gallery upload folder, but had a file size of 0 which was a bit weird.
But, I changed a few permissions that let people view all versions of the images and it now works.
I guess, I should have looked at that before I posted a topic on here tongue.gif
Thanks for your help anyway!
