Full Version: Problem With Linksys Wireless Notebook Card

I have a Linksys wireless notebook card which I just bought and installed. I tried to connect it to the wireless Linksys router at the house I moved into. This router and house have worked perfectly fine with roommates before me. The Linksys Network Monitor would not show any networks available and I tried the way they said to have it work. I then uninstalled this Monitor and made sure Wireless Zero Configuration was checked under Services in the Run>msconfig window. I also double-checked to make sure it was running and it was. Still no internet. I also cannot open WZC because there is no little picture of a computer with an X in the bottom right hand corner. Furthermore, when I try to open up the Network Setup Wizard, it doesn't open - the computer does nothing. By the way it is an HP laptop running Windows XP. Thanks a lot!

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Try access the network connection through the control panel. Check and see if your wireless connection is enabled there.
