happened after I reformated my computer.. I can watch videos, but wont hear any sound.. I got the speakers plugged iin right..

I think it's that I have dont have the driver updated or whatever, but I dont know how to find out which one I need..

can anyone help?

More like HP, Compaq, or Dell, followed by some letters and numbers. Should be on a tag on the back of the computer. Maybe a service tag number also
