I`m new in the iMac world. How do you change file extensions? Many thanks in advance.

Go Finder>Preferences>Advanced and make shure "show all extensions" is checked. Then its just like renaming a file. You can click on it twice(not double-click) or click once and hit return or ctrl-click and select rename. When the name is highlighted, arrow over to the right to change the extension. When you're done, itll ask you if youre shure you want to do that.
