I recently started to experience a major lag with all my media including downloaded videos, streaming videos, video games, but not music.
The media will play just fine for a few seconds but then will either freeze or playback will be choppy.
Ive performed virus and spyware scans but nothing.
Im using an Acer Aspire 5102WLMi
AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile Technology TL50
Please help
Thank you.

Then you need to be more specific about what you're having trouble with. If it's streaming video, post a link and we'll take a look at it. If you're having trouble with other things, you should look at updating video drivers.

Its not one thing in particular, its everything, no matter what i play theres a lag or choppy playback.
How would i go about updating the video drivers? Sorry im not very computer savvy when it comes to that stuff...

Oh Ok. We need to know the manufacturer of the sound card.

The only thing it says under manufacturer for all my drivers including my audio and video cards is (Standard system devices)

It should give you the manufacturer of the video card under System Information>Display. My video card is by NVidia.

I dunno. It's hard to say. It's not like it can hurt your computer. Sometimes these things can be very difficult to diagnose because you're looking for a quick fix and sometimes there isn't one. You have to try different things.

I installed it but the problem persists

You could try to adjust settings within Flash though I doubt that is the problem. Check out this link.

I suggest you post a link of something you are trying to watch so I can take a look at it.

Its not a problem with something specific that im trying to watch its with any video or anything that uses motion picture, any video i try to watch on youtube or dailymotion for example is either choppy or freezes completely as well as any video that i play on windows media player, real player, quicktime, or divX player, it doesnt matter what i view EVERYTHING expericences the same problem

Then it could be anything. Maybe you don't have enough RAM or your computer isn't powerful enough. There is no quick fix and you're being too vague. You're going to have to send in specific examples or there's no real way to help you. We've seen this before with this kind of problem. When people make a blanket statement like you have, it's usually wrong.
