I've never used Windows Defender and I'm setting up my first Vista build. I've always used Spyware Blaster and Spyware Guard. I noticed Spyware Guard has runtime protection, as does Windows Defender. My question is, will the 2 programs conflict like multiple firewalls and anti-virus programs do?

Hi,
I don't use Windows Defender my self however, my veryy oldd computer uses it and I don't care about it because I hardly ever use it.
Anyways back to your question I did however install Spywareblaster on it because I want to see if it works well before I install on my actual good computer. I don't think it has any conflicts with any firewalls however I don't think you need 2 runtime protection. I think one is good, 2 i just think waste of time and space lol... Don't take my word for it though, but I am pretty sure that they don't have any conflicts between them
