I need to buy a new CD drive for my computer. I've looked on Dell, and the long lists are very confusing...

I saw this one -

http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/produ...p;sku=429-12542

Because it doesn't have a list of Dell computers it's compatible with, does that mean it's compatible with all Dell computers?
Also, I am looking at the right thing, right? I want the drive to be able to load CDs (for example, Games).

Thanks for any help!

You don't have to stick with Dell. Optical drives are interchangeable. You just have to make sure it has the same interface. What is the model of your Dell?

I have a Dimension DXP061.

Couple more questions. Where is this computer from, Europe? Is it a laptop or desktop? The link you gave was for a laptop drive. This will determine what you need. There should be a Service tag number on the back. Please include that

It is from Europe. It's a desktop. And the service tag is - CB8ZS2J

You can go anywhere and get any brand you want, you don't have to stay with Dell. Probably save some money. Like I said, the link you provided was for a laptop drive. You want one for a desktop. The important thing being it is a SATA cable interface. I'm not familiar with stores or online stores in your region. I offer this link so you have an idea of what I'm talking about http://www.newegg.com/Product Just click on the picture to get different angles of what it looks like
