Hello.
I realize that members who aren't part of the HJT team are not suppose to help with malware removal.
However, should we see a non-malware related topic where we suspect the user may be infected based on some sort of info given, what action should we take?

Hello.
Thank you KoanYorel.
I suppose we should include a reason as to why we think the user is infected as well?
Should we also post to the topic to inform the user? They might be wondering why their topic was moved. Or should we leave that part to the Moderators?

A rational or reason why you think the post should be moved is very appropriate. Makes the Mods job easier.
I would avoid replying to the thread, unless you have some other information relevant to the topic.
And thanks for asking for clarification on this subject.

I don't think Panda is referring to HJT logs, only non-malware related topics where a user suspects an infection..

David28 - you'll note that the link I provided in post #2 above also includes a link on how to post Misplaced HJT logs.

Hello again everyone.
I was refering to non-malware related topics where the user does not suspect an infection but another member looking at the topic does.
Thanks for the clarification.
