don't know if I'm in right section but really need help.
my shift key is not working so I can't get to any of the additional characters on keys. is there anything i can do to fix this or do I need new keyboard/ see no question mark

please help

Can you borrow another keyboard to try? That will answer the question straight away.
Is there anything special about your existing keyboard? e.g. is is USB or ergonomic or has ~30 internet shortcut keys and a volume control? If not a replacement should be available in your local electrical goods store for not very much money.
