I'm having some problems with some spyware that recently leaked onto my cpu and it keeps asking me to get protection from all available sources and occasionally my computer desktop will be taken over by this one screensaver where beetles ( bugs ) are walking all over it.
I don't exactly know the name of the source, I guess I'll post it the next time I see it and look for a name, but I was wondering if I could just post my Hijack This log and if that would help anyone to scan through it and find my problem. You guys were very helpful the last time I visited here, so thanks again in advance.
PS I've already run Spybot S+D and Ad Aware and cleared everything they show.

- Double-click SUPERAntiSpyware.exe and use the default settings for installation.
- An icon will be created on your desktop. Double-click that icon to launch the program.
- If asked to update the program definitions, click "Yes". If not, update the definitions before scanning by selecting "Check for Updates". (If you encounter any problems while downloading the updates, manually download and unzip them from here.)
- Under "Configuration and Preferences", click the Preferences button.
- Click the Scanning Control tab.
- Under Scanner Options make sure the following are checked (leave all others unchecked):
- Close browsers before scanning.
- Scan for tracking cookies.
- Terminate memory threats before quarantining.
- Click the "Close" button to leave the control center screen.
- Back on the main screen, under "Scan for Harmful Software" click Scan your computer.
- On the left, make sure you check C:\Fixed Drive.
- On the right, under "Complete Scan", choose Perform Complete Scan.
- Click "Next" to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
- After the scan is complete, a Scan Summary box will appear with potentially harmful items that were detected. Click "OK".
- Make sure everything has a checkmark next to it and click "Next".
- A notification will appear that "Quarantine and Removal is Complete". Click "OK" and then click the "Finish" button to return to the main menu.
- If asked if you want to reboot, click "Yes".
- To retrieve the removal information after reboot, launch SUPERAntispyware again.
- Click Preferences, then click the Statistics/Logs tab.
- Under Scanner Logs, double-click SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log.
- If there are several logs, click the current dated log and press View log. A text file will open in your default text editor.
- Please copy and paste the Scan Log results in your next reply.
- Click Close to exit the program.

Um, I ran the scan last night, and it looks like it worked great, I deleted all ( 26 ) threats it found and I no longer have the problem.
But as for the log, today I tried to load the program and my computer can't find the program, almost like it got removed from my cpu. Is this normal, like does it only last for one day with the free download, or did something go wrong with it?

superantispyware; look in your all programs menue? or is there a desktop shortcut?(should be one)
to retrieve the scan result
Open the program and return to the statistics /logs section ; locate the most recent log ; left mouse click on it to highlight it and click the ‘view log’ tab
The log should appear in maybe note pad ; you need to copy and paste that log for examination
it is NOT the type of program that 'vanishes' ..at least....... not 'normally'
also; if not located; see if IS still on board in your control panel ?try finding it in add /remove programs?
