So, I finally got Fedora 9 installed from my live CD, and now I'm trying to get my wireless internet to work. Right now, I just enter my network name, and set the security, but it doesn't connect. I tried to go to the properties, but a bug crashes it.... so, any suggestions? Do I need a driver? My wireless card is a belkin desktop PCI wireless internet card, by the way.

Are you using encryption ??? If so read on ....

I'm not familar with your distro or belkin, but I had a similar problem with PCLOS 2007 using Linksys Wireless_G Access Point.
I resolved it by changing the access point settings from WPA to WEP and also substituted hex for ascii in both the key & ssid fields.

I have no encryption whatsoever on our router, mostly because we're out in the middle of no where, and I wouldn't mind too much if someone was getting on it a bit anyways.... but its not really a problem.

Okay, the main problem is that the menu that sets the settings crashes every time I open it up...
