I have been running another desktop computer on wireless internet for the past 6 months with little or no problems with the connections. A few hours ago while fooling around i suddenly got the limited or no connectivity warning. I went through restarted my computer, restarted the router, and tried connecting multiple times. Now this seemed to happen while i was messing around on the property screen for the Network playing with the WEP. I later went in and put the correct WEP in yet still limited or no connectivity. Any ideas what I did and how I can fix it??? Thanks

My first step that I would try is to release and renew the ip.
to do this goto start>run type in cmd then press ok
type in: ipconfig /release
press enter
type in: inconfig /renew
press enter
check your status
also right click on your network connection and click repair
let me know if this helps at all.

Hi Bestofal Before doing Release/Renew,First try to reconnect to your wireless network
The steps are (If your OS is XP)
> start>> control pannel>>> Network connection>>Right clik on w/l connection Icon >go to view available networks
> you will get a new screen with all networks available
> On left hand side you can find an option cahange order of prefred networks
> clik on it,You can find some networks in the middle window
> select each at a time and clik on remove button on top of the window, So remove all networks like this from that window
> after clearing click on OK button at the bottom
> then the window will be dissappeared
> again start the first step and you will get a window with all netwoks,Once click on Refresh on left hand side
> Now try to connect to your network with WEP key
> And check in that screen whether your network says connectd or still Limited r low connectivity
> surely it will connect
>> still if it shows the same message,Check for firewalls and security on your computer and then try to reconnect to network
> Let me know if you have any issues!!!!!!
