ok so i was trying to restore my files from a backup i made on my external harddrive with acronis. then wen it was restoring i clicked cancel cause it wasn't moving (there was my mistake) cause now wen i turn it on, i only see the first page which is like f10 for setup and esc for something like that. then the next screen is just a black screen with __ so im thinking i screwed up, big time. anyone got any ideas how to fix this? by the way i dont got no recovery cd's or any of that.

*edit* wait just found recovery cd 1 and 2. still dunno what to do with them though

I would first try to redo the Acronis operation and let it run through to completion. That "should" fix things up. If not, then post back with and we'll see about using the recovery disks.
