Hi guys!

I work as an administrative assistant during the day.
This job is scheduled to end in November.
Because I will be at university part time, I have schedule restrictions and I feel like I need something extra to help sell myself.
Are these certifications worth the expense? Do they count more than office experience?

Also, should I try to learn Office 2007 even though we use Office 2003 at both my jobs?
I feel like I could test now on 2003 with little effort, but 2007 might require a class and that would be very difficult to work into my schedule.

Thanks for any advice you have to offer! smile.gif

Anyone who knows all of the ins and outs of Office applications has an edge in my book. Having a certificate to back it up can only be a plus

Even though businesses are slow to upgrade to 2007, having some certification would certainly be a plus on your resume, especially if you begin with "practical proficiency in Office 2003, certification in MS Office 2007" or words to that effect.
Regards,
John
