Well, I'm using NOD32 Trial which is the Firewall/Anti-Spam/Anti-Virus.
I recently looked at a topic where they were compared, and BAM, NOD32 Falls in the 0% category. I see that Comodo is the best one.
I need the ULTIMATE Firewall/AntiVirus/Spyware collection.
Requirements:
Must be FREE [no trials]
Protect against harmful threats
If you would, I'd like the bundle package like NOD32, but if that's not the case, I'm willing to get three/two seperate softwares.
Like:
Anti-Virus/Firewall and Anti-Spyware
Anti-Virus and Firewall/Anti-Spyware
Anti-Spyware/Anti-Virus and Firewall
Anti-Spyware and Anti-Virus and Firewall [All seperate]
Thanks for the help.
I'll need the name of the software, and the website.
Note: Some websites, for some odd reason, do not work on any of my web browsers. So I may need a link from www.download.com, or one of those websites.

Hi,
Bottom line is one real time protection(spybot S&F with teatimer enabled), an anti-virus, 1 or 2 anti-spyware programs and a firewall which should be included(windows firewall).
Read here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic405.htmlhttp://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic1628.htmlThose two links should help you. The second link is very usefull I have all of them. I have spybot S&D(tea timer enabled), ad-aware 2007, spywareblaster and AVG 8.0 People are having alot of trouble with AVG 8.0 including myself. You might want to use AVG 7.5 instead however AVG 7.5 will stop updating starting 31/12 2008. I am just to lazy to uninstall AVG 8.0 to 7.5 and then after a few months install back to AVG 8.0

Avast is very good choice. I used to use it but the scan took too long so I switched to AVG.

I too am looking for protection but first need to find out what free tool can remove webhancer from my husband's laptop. I use McAfee but it can't remove it when it finds it in a scan and it has really screwed with his computer. I had to go in and set his firewall... was too low letting everything in. Help! Evie

I'm using NOD32 with Eset Smart Security (with firewall). I wouldn't only rely on Web critics to choose. My Eset is the best anti-malware bundle I have ever used, and really fast too (6 minutes to scan my whole system for viruses)! It's simple, fast, uses very few system resources, and does the job... And you won't see millions of pop-up questions like Comodo and Kaspersky will drive you crazy with! These two expect you to be a super computer ace expert! Believe me, if you're not an expert, you'll have a hard time knowing what to answer and you'll really be annoyed like I was. At least, Eset knows what to do without bugging you all the time and is really simple to configure.
Surf the Web wisely, stay away from porn sites, don't download P2P files, keep your Windows updated, use common sense and you won't need to worry too much about getting the best anti-malware solution.
I use Eset, with SpywareBlaster (free) and SuperAntiSpyware (free), my XP Pro SP2 and now SP3 updates are done, and I have had no issues for a very long time now.
