Well, I just got home and turned on the computer... It takes about 5 MINUTES for ANY website to open up.
This is also happening on my brother's computer, which is next to mine.
We share a modem which is a router. We have Verizon Online DSL [or FiOS], whatever its called.
Any suggestions?
- I restarted my computer, about three times to be exact.
- I used dial-a-fix or whatever its called
- I disk cleaned
Another problem: Some websites don't work on my computer, they don't even have the loading bar when I attempt to connect to it.
Suggestions?
Thanks

This may be because your Ip speed limits your internet once you go over a certain download limit.
I suggest calling up or getting in contact somehow with your Ip and asking them if speed limiting applies to your plan

you may also wish to run checks on both computers for viruses etc?
BUT ; are you on BB/cable ????

I don't know what's BB, but I'm running through an ethernet which goes to the modem.

Hello iDukeHelp,
Since you have a HJT log posted in the HijackThis Logs and Malware Removal forum, you shouldn't make any changes to your system.
Doing so, could change the results of the posted log, making it difficult to properly clean your system.
At this point, the HJT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.
Please Do Not continue to post questions about your OS while you have an active log.
This topic will now be closed.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM.
