When I double click on My Computer or try and open My Documents I get the following message

"Data Execution Prevention- Microsoft Windows"

To help protect your computer , Window has closed this program

Windows Explorer

Anyone know why this is happening?

The most likely cause would (IMO) be malware (viruses or spyware). I'd suggest trying a few of these free, online scans to ensure that nothing has slipped by your protection software:

Be advised that some of these scanners will pickup things in "quarantine" from other anti-virus programs - so review the results carefully:

Thanks.

Ive run a scan but found nothing. Ive now simply turned off the DIP for Explorer and everything is fine now.
