I have a pc at home with 10 gigs total. My friend is giving me a used computer that probably has more storage.I am not sure at this time if it is a newer unit than my current one or if it has more gigs. My question is this, Can I combine the two towers easily? Or should the better drive be used alone? I don't kow what brand the new one is or any details. perhaps someone can recommend a tutorial on the subject. I really just wanted to throw this out as early as possible. Yes, a lot of information will be needed from you about both the systems
in order to help you make the best choice of what you want to use, keep, etc.

I suggest that you download "EVEREST Home Edition"
(a freeware system information, system diagnostics and
benchmarking program for home PC users).

Then run the program on both systems and post the logs as a reply
to this thread. These logs will tell us about both systems in detail.

Of course, provide as much other detail as you are able to do so.

Yes its possible.....you need to slave the hard drive.......to slave is when you pretty much open up your computer hook the new harddrive up, format it, and use it for memory on your system.
