Hehe got some time today to be able to be on the computer so I decided to post and see what you guys think.


What do you think is the number one thing that annoys you the most?

Me...? Hmm...


I dunno, Either when people talk about computers and they clearly have no clue what in the world they are saying. Or...
When thier trying to help they always take drastic mesures such as, " My sound cards not working what do I do? " " Buy a new computer"

do you mean things that have to do with computers? because the number one thing for me is Microsoft. Period. I am not grateful to them, I do not endorse anything they put their name on.
Of course, I have a pc. and I run Windows xp. That could be the problem.

Now, outside of computers: TV shows about the lives of the stars. They make me want to throw bleach in my own eyes for even glancing at them!

for me, with computers... it is spam mail, but also people who act really immature on forums. It can get annoying sometimes.

Computers are my thing so it naturally annoys me when people have no idea what thier talking about.

on a sidenote maybe harddrives don't make such good CPU sockets, but they're pretty wicked lil frisbees

Well, you weren't born a computer genius. It's all learning until we understand Heck I remember that December 2007 I had no idea what a firewall is.

What makes me in beserk mode is... watching those weird "PG" literature movies like Romeo and Juliet, Midsummer Night's Dream, The Odessey, etc. movies where I need to look away from the screen multiple times due to... "suggestive" scenes. I hate romance. :S Kinda stupid, but still.

Like what annoys me, you know, is like you know people who like you know use like and you know every other word. Especially when I see an interview with someone and the person answers with you know 100 times. If I were interviewing that person, I would have to yell at him or her NO YOU IDIOT, I DON'T KNOW. THAT'S WHY I ASKED!!!!!

One of... of of... the... the general things that annoys me the... the most is when people... speak haltingly (deliberately) and... and... then do it excessively to... to... make their speech sound more important than it... it... it is.

One of my big gripes are the intellectual giants that when asked to speak their mind have to resort to a mime routine.

The arrhythmic clickity-clacking accompanied with high-pitched (almost out of human hearing range) squeaking of computer keys, even of a single computer, in computer labs, classrooms, the library etc. drives me insane.

Just now - ignorant individuals that expect an HJT fix within an hour or two of posting while others wait for many days.

Isn't that the core mission of BP, to help us ignorant computer users?

Now that you've given me the reason to expand, I'll say that all malware forums are inundated with similar posts asking for help.
Everyone needs help - and right now - immediately!!! Excuses abound as to why they should be helped first off.

Many don't understand, or appreciate the knowledge, training, and continuing study and daily work it takes to accomplish this help.

All working here are volunteers and have other lives also.

If you can't wait for help - then pay a PRO. My local Tech charges $85 USD per hour for the simple things. And he's inexpensive.

Yep, at first I thought "Why isn't them BLEEPING BC people helping me out with my BLEEPING problem?!? BLEEP!!"
Now that I look at it, I completely ever regret thinking that. It takes forever.

Another thing that bothers me: People who are actually cheeky enough to be rude to other people for trying to help on any forum. Maybe a little thanks now and then?

What annoys me, is when seeking information about a PC problem,you stress you are a beginner,and some Techies come back with such Geek terms,I wouldn't have a clue what the term means.
Also giving instructions,that most beginners wouldn't have a hope of carrying out.
EG.Go into the Bios, and do such and such,and go into the Registry, and do such and such. DIR.
Techies do a wonderful job, helping us,just wish sometimes they would give plain English, step by step instructions.

The most annoying thing is when your sitting in class, and students from another class come in to use the computers. Everyone at my school is fascinated by the sound "StickeyKey" makes (pressing shift 5 times). I don't see what the big deal is. Someone will press it and everyone thinks its the funniest thing ever. I'm in high school by the way, not elementary school if you got confused .

Lol. I think you can disable that. I did for mine.
