I recently Upgraded my Laptop from XP home to Vista Business
I was noticing that when my Laptop is connected to an Ext. Monitor the
resolution doesn't seem so good. I was wondering,
(Monitor Specs: 21" .20mm pitch-1600x1200max res)
1) Since I upgraded do I need to get any upgraded drives for my Display?
2) What are "ATI releases Catalyst drivers for Vista"?
Filename: ATI_catalyst_8-31-100-3-2-1_vista32-64_rtm.exe
3) Should I get one? If so which?
4) Any suggestions on how to maximize my system?
Here are the Specs of my laptop:
Toshiba satelite L25
Celeron M- 1.5 G
RAM: 2.0 G
OS: 32-bit
Video: ATI MOBILITY RADEON XPRESS 200.

I often connect my older XP desktop to this same Monitor. Its using Nvidia card.
I DL some drivers for it and it has some cool setting interfaces to tweak the display.
It just seems to be more powerful. I get a ton more resolution setting w/ the Nvidia unit.
The picture clarity & crispness in a lot better. Thats what got me thinking I might be missing
some type of ATI Driver of Tweaking software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
