I am looking for a notes application - something like Keynotes, but maybe a bit simpler to use - I have Vista Home Premium and it looks as though Keynotes won't work on Vista. Also looked at WikiNotes but also doesn't have Vista version. Any ideas?

Also would like to know if there is a way to list a directory - in Dos you used to do Dir and then you could print it out. Anything that can do that?

Keynote works on Vista for sure!!.. thumbup2.gif
I use Vista (Home Basic, though...) 64bit and I use Keynote a lot and have zero problems with it... smile.gif..

About the second question... Did you try TotalCommander??..

Thank you. Will try TotalCommander.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for. Evernote is a new startup that I read about last week on TechCrunch.

Thank you. Had a look at evernote and it looks as though it uses the web, I don't have a web connection. My main reason for wanting this is that I have a lot of web addresses that I want to store with a description so that I can search later on and find the bits I am looking for. I also have lots of help files and guides that I have copied and downloaded and want to make those keyword searchable and keep them in one place. Maybe I will just have to build a little database.

Hey there! .. I think that EverNote 3, which is in beta, also has a desktop module.. So you may want to take a look at that.. I think that if you don't have an Internet connection, you can still store your notes on your PC. Hope that helps!
