Full Version: Does Anyone Know Anything About Shaw Secure?

Iam thinking about downloading Shaw Secure is it a good program?
What are peoples opions on it?
Right now I have Avg, spybot and Ad-ware would shaw Secure replace all these programs?
What is my best option to go to protect my comp? I have cought something through Msn and have fixed that program then had problems with facebook not sure what hapened there.

It's very similar to other security suites that ISPs offer to subscribers at no extra charge. I'm with Rogers and I use the one that they provide. According to the Shaw website, the product is from F-Secure which is a legit company that makes a good product. If you are currently using AVG Anti Virus, you should uninstall it before installing Shaw Secure because you can't have two anti virus programs running. You should also turn off the Windows firewall. You can keep Spybot & Ad Aware as on demand spyware scanners but you should turn off Spybot's Teatimer if you are using it. It could conflict with Shaw Secure.
