Advanced beginer
The advanced beginner is still seeking knowledge about loss of free space on my hard drive. Uninstalling a program loses space , as it seems a new restore point is created. I would think I would gain space instead. Is this one of those Vista problems, or do I have a PC problem? About every 4 to 5 days, sometimes longer, and without doing anything, my PC will start the process of losing dick space apparently creating another restore point. This goes on and on for around a month when I've lost 7 GB's of free space before I do the magic trick on system restore. Then the process begins again. Again, is there someone out there who will shed some light to me on this? Is there an ajustment needed? Remember, this is a fairly new PC. Have I messed up something with my setting changes?

hi,,, you need to reset how much disc space sys restor uses,,,, as default i think its set at about 1/4 of your total hdd space,,, on mine this was about 60gig,, so it likes to create restor points for fun,,,, i reset mine to 20gig,,, seems like enough,,,
