Today I cleaned the inside of my computer.
The day before I ran virus scans and they all turned up clean. I used Norton Anti-Virus and then I got a trial version of Norton 360. I used Tune-Up Utilities 2008 to clean up my computer's registry. But it is still behaving strangely. And today I get the error message

Microsoft Windows Search Indexer stopped working and was closed.

It popped up at least 6 times in a row while I was organizing files.

What is going on? I don't know if this is enough information, seeing as this is my first time posting here.

My OS is Windows Vista Home Basic.

Let me know if I should post a HijackThis Log. I really want to know what's up with my computer's strange behavior.
