Hmmm...I think I'd check Event Viewer for errors that might give me clues to the problem(s).

Just a couple of things that probably mean nothing to your problem but ya never really know. Was the game it crashed on a web-based game like yahoo/pogo/whatever?

Second I would recommend getting firefox or opera, never used opera but firefox is a lot better than IE and only takes a few seconds to set up can get it here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/?utm_...CFUU2FQod5TWY_Q

I seriously doubt it is a problem with IE but like i said ya never know.

Thanks for the PM, my apologies. Sometimes, when a poster doesn't post for a week or so, I assume that the issue has resolved itself.

Well...I get IE hangs sometimes, but I think all of mine are caused by problems on the website itself.

Example: At this website, at certain times they do site maintenance. If I'm trying to post something within that timeframe, my system just hangs and I just close the window to this site (and wait 5 minutes or so).

I took a look at my Event Viewer logs and the only application I have a consistent hanging problem with...is one of my video-editing programs (no fix, not a problem).

Assuming that you have all critical updates installed, about the only thing I can suggest is a repair of IE, based on the premise that it could be corrupt.
