Our laptop connects to our wireless network, but it won't connect to our network printer. I've set the printer to be shared, but when I try to search for it on the laptop, nothing comes up.

Did you install the printer software on the laptop? Check your firewall settings to make sure it's allowed through

I've tried installing the software, but it wants to find the printer in the process. I've checked the firewall settings, and the file and printer sharing is selected (along with everything else listed) in the exceptions tab in both computers.

It's always tricky when the IP is dynamicly assigned (DHCP),

If it was me , i would assign a fixed IP to the laptop and that should probably solve it.
