I have a network set up with 3 computers.
I have a Belkin router (wireless) and 4 ethernet ports.
The Main computer is a desktop with XP Professional. Another is a gaming computer (custom built with XP) and the third is a brand new Toshiba laptop running Vista.
I have an HP PSC 2355 all-in-one printer.
The laptop connects to the network wirelessly. No matter what we do I cannot print anything from the laptop.
The laptop "sees" the printer and the main comp. "sees" the Laptop. We have updated drivers in both. I have set the printer to share on the main computer.
We have been through all the help at HP and Microsoft.
But when we hit print on the laptop, we are asked to select a printer. No matter which printer icon we choose the message "Windows cannot connect to the printer. Access denied" is displayed.
The laptop prints fine if connected directly to the printer.
I know a little bit about troubleshooting computer problems but this one has me baffled.
Any help would be appriciated.
Bill
