So, right now I am getting ready for college, and I have my laptop. It came with a Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family device ( DAC Type: Internal dry.gif ). My question is is there any way to add a video card to this laptop of mine (Sony VAIO, model PCG-5J2L)? Am I stuck with what I have? I had read somewhere that you can disable the onboard card and use a installed one, but does the laptop even have room for a better video card? Thanks.

No, you're pretty much stuck with what you've got on a laptop - as the video card is usually built into the motherboard to save space.
