Hey there. I am hoping someone out there can sort out this problem I am having. Whenever I start either Thunderbird or Firefox I get many connections called 007guard.com when I run netstat at the command prompt. My ISP was giving me issues when they were sharing my IP address with another user but they assure me that they have resolved that problem for me. I am not sure whether this is why I became infected but I am more concerned with getting it fixed right now.
Action taken:
I have ran scans that have all turned up nothing with the following - AVG, AdAware and Spybot.
I downloaded and ran SmitFraudFix v2.309. I ran a scan and then used the fix option. The log file below is from after I chose the fix option.
I also downloaded HijackThis.exe and ran it after SmitFraudFix v2.309. The log file will be under the SmitFraudFix v2.309 log.
