A good antimalware tool that can be installed, updated, and executed from safe mode while disconnected from the internet?

I don't think it can be updated while dis-connected from the internet.

Also, some anti-malware apps need to download the installation files in the actuall installer.
When you say anti-malware...do you mean anti-virus or spyware?
David.

I have updated trojanhunter manually this way before but I don't think you can install from safe mode
a custom made bart bootcd is the only thing I have been able to come up with besides for some verbotten tools

Oh so you mean download the update files from another computer then transfer them to the computer you are talking about and then update? Yeah, that should be possible, I think I have done that with AVG 7.5.

Is this an actual situation you are in
DaChew, or is it just in case it happens?
