i have a question regarding connecting or accessing other workstation in my network.

i'm using windows 2003 server, it's working fine until the other day. When i try to access workstations (windows xp) a login prompt appears, asking for my user name and password and below the window it has the remember my password option. i need to input guest on the user name filled and blank password to enter and access the workstation. how do i solve this? it didn't happen until the other day. It doesn't ask me or prompts me for username and password to access workstations. do i just need to check the remember my password option for each workstation? any other solution?

could anybody explain to me how or why did this happen? anything i need to do to solve it?

by the way, netbeui is installed on all workstations and the windows 2003 server.

Windows XP doesn't normally like remembering blank login passwords.

Try installing Autologon: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinte...s/bb963905.aspx
Although it does state that XP will only remember a blank password for 1 reboot.

I have used TweakUI to allow an automatic login (infinite number of times) with a blank password:
