I have an emachine that when vista load it freeze the screen

also, i tried to load it in save mode and only have a black screen with the save mode word in all conner....

and to be more tragic, i lost my restore DVD.

what you guys think? How I can get it going?

I would suggest contacting eMachines for a restore DVD (usually fairly cheap). Then you'll be able to run Startup Repair to see if you can fix this issue ( http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html )
