Someone has been hacking my website and messing it up. I have changed password until I am tired of changing it and I have Norton on the computer.

Thanks would appreciate any help

Your web server has all of that information....you said that you have Norton on the system, so I am assuming that you are running your own server. What are you using for server software?

I have Norton anitvirus and all on my computer but someone has hacked my website several times now and deleted my meta tags and then piled my links on top of each other I can go into my history on it and it tells me where alot of the viewers came through google, through nsolution and that but I cant seem to get the hacker out of my site. And a friend said i needed to download some program that would show who has viewed it their isp or email?? I just honestly am dumb at how to explain . Sorry

Not being familiar with how a web-server works means that you are inexperienced, not dumb. Having Norton on your system doesn't do anything to protect your web pages, since your web pages are not being hosted from your computer. In the same vein, no software that you install on your system is going to tell you who has been goofing around on your server.

You have a couple of options. First, you get in contact with Yahoo or Geocities, or whomever is your host, and tell them what is happening. They are the ones with the resources to find out who has hacked your pages. Just seeing who the visitors are is not going to help, unless you know the exact time content on the site was changed. Making some wild guesses, their entire server is compromised. There is nothing you can do to defend against that. So your other choice is to change providers. Most people get free web space from their service providers (as long as it is not pornographic, commercial, etc), so that might be a better option.

Thanks for the advice... Someone even hacked my Ebay and had a motorcycle for sale under my name and all and the charges was enormous on it for listing but ebay immediately took care of it and took it off and reversed the charges.
I admit i am inexperienced I am trying to learn... I will contact my provider and see if they provide free websites cause mine is for puppies I sell nothing bad.

Thanks for the advice and have a nice upcoming weekend.
