Hello! I am having a problem upgrading to Windows XP and I need help! Details: When I pop in the Windows XP sp2 disk on my Windows Neptune it loads up and it gets sooo close to getting completed, but then it says it can't put all of the data on the disk so I click ok, it gets done and then Windows says it needs to termanate the application because it wasn't responding, BUT; it happens to be working fine! Jeez what is WRONG with this computer!? Help me!

BETA versions of any software are problematic, hence that's why they're not released to the public and you're left on your own as far as support goes. I'm betting you need the regular 2000 version to upgrade to XP

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_NeptuneI would start over and do a clean install
what a mess
not even a true beta or a release candidate
