when i go to control panel and sound it says no audio device

I did all windows updates still no sound

Hi PoweredByGoogle,

Did you think to check and see if you *or some evil little brother* might have muted the sound? I did that to myself once with the mute button on my keyboard.

Just a thought.

haha, Good idea but nope. I'm all by my self and I just got the computer. Clean install. Deffinetly not muted. I wish it was as simple as that.

Have you expanded the "sound, video, and game controllers" sub-section of the device manager to ensure that the drivers for your sound card are installed?

Sometimes an uninstall and re-install of device drivers helps some issues.

"No audio device" means that the sound drivers are not installed.

Download/install the package under Audio which applies to you (I suspect it's the first one, unless you know that you have Creative Sound.
