Hi,
when i start microsoft outlook 2007, i get a message migrating settings, and then it goes onto say cannot connect microsoft network, and promptly shuts down, before i can input any settings. it works fine on my desktop. but will not work on my laptop,
can you please help anybody

Hi
on opening outlook i have a box open up and it says Configuring outlook, in this box it says migrating preferences, importing data,
second box appears "the connection to microsoft exhange is unavailable, outlook must be online or connected to complete this action, bottom of box button says ok. click on okay.
box opens up microsoft exchange, general tab
microsoft exchange server, i have inserted mail.talktalk.net
mailbox:
i have inserted: my user name
at the botom of the box it says "once the names have been checked and are underlined, click ok
click ok
new box opens up
cannot open your default e-mail folders, the file c:\documents and settings\dai\local settings\application data\microsoft\\outlook\outlook.ost is not an offline folder file.
click ok
shuts down
