I have installed Noscript to my Firefox browser and wondered should I temporily allow Google Analytics or mark as untrusted?.
frankp316
Do you use Google Analytics? I use it to track my blog stats.
bluesjunior
I have no idea what it does I thought it may be spyware?.
frankp316
Nope. As I said, I use it to track my blog stats. Here's a link.

Thanks Frankp316.

Is there a general rule so to speak of what to allow and disallow with Noscript. The ones like statcounter etc are pretty obvious but sometimes when it is a .com address I am unsure whether Temp allow or add to mark as untrusted is the best option.

I don't use Firefox so I don't know. But if you're not sure about something it never hurts to ask. The big difference here is Google Analytics is more than just a counting service and the counter isn't visible on the website using it.

No. The purpose of having it is to allow only what you want. I can't imagine that you have any need to allow Google Analytics...I surely don't.
