Downloaded autoruns and got two programs. Autoruns.exe and Autorunsc.exe. Which one do I use or are they both the same?

Hey ccc6,

Autoruns.exe is the GUI Version of Autoruns (Easy to use) and Autorunsc.exe is the command-line version of Autoruns

If you want to use Autorunsc.exe then heres how:

Usage: autorunsc [-a] | [-c] [-b] [-d] [-e] [-g] [-h] [-i] [-l] [-m] [-p] [-r] [-s] [-v] [-w] [user]

-a

Show all entries.

-b

Boot execute.

-c

Print output as CSV.

-d

Appinit DLLs.

-e

Explorer addons.

-g

Sidebar gadgets (Vista and higher)

-h

Image hijacks.

-i

Internet Explorer addons.

-l

Logon startups (this is the default).

-m

Hide signed Microsoft entries.

-p

Printer monitor drivers.

-r

LSA providers.

-s

Autostart services and non-disabled drivers.

-t

Scheduled tasks.

-v

Verify digital signatures.

-w

I do Recommend The GUI Version (Autoruns.exe) because its alot easier to use thumbup2.gif

Welcome h4ck3r! Thanks for the reply. I figured out autoruns.exe was easier, too.
