I am beginning to wonder what's worse, all the malware or the conflicts from having duplicate protections running real time?
We have known not to have 2 anti virus programs active, but now with the greying of the distinction between virii, trojans and spyware, and the trend for anti malware programs to try to cover all these bases, aren't software conflicts inevitable?
I first ran into this problem a couple of years ago and had to reload a couple of computers where I was running spybot's teatimer and norton's av active. Somewhere between windows updates, norton's and teatimer, windows got completely hosed.
It was easier to fix an infection than that mess?
Maybe there ought to be a few more guides warning of this danger?
my 2 cents
