Well I've only just started having this problem recently, When i try to load a website i get Firefox can't find the server at [name] and i have to refresh the page about 5 times until it finally loads up, This happens randomly and happens to any website and quite often, I have no problems on my other computers.

I'm having problems with Outlook also resolving servers, it can't be my ISP because I was at my Mums when I first posted and now I'm at my dads I still have the same problem.

Be sure and check out all of the troubleshooting suggestions in the article in post #2.
Are you able to access websites in Internet Explorer?
Go to the Control Panel then Network Connections.
Click once on your active Connection.
From the menu on the left, select Repair This Connection.
If no joy loading websites,
Is there any Proxy set or used?
Check to see if set to automatic:
In Firefox,
Go Tools/ Options/ Advanced/ click on the Network Tab, then click Settings.
Select the radio button that says Auto Detect Proxy Settings for all this Network
Click Okay
In Internet Explorer,
Go to Tools/ Internet Options/ click on the Connections tab, then click on LAN Settings.
Select Automatically Detect Settings
Click Okay twice.

I've tried everything on the list, My Mum and Dad are both using Sky it might be that their DNS server is down but I'm not quite sure, I've found a site called OpenDNS and trying that at the moment
