Hi, I've tried searching to see if this question/problem has been discussed with no luck. I've been running Vista since April last year and whilst I have little problems with using Windows Media Player, everytime I try and access Winows Media Center, it initially opens but as soon as I task it to open, lets say my pictures file, it closes down with the message "Windows Media Center Store update manager stopped working and was closed." Even when I dont try to open my Media Center, I get the same message sometime after I have started my PC up to do routine tasks. When I searched Microsoft it suggested a hotfix that might cure this warning message but stated it would be included in the SP1 pack. From reviews of the SP1 Beta etc, I doubt that it will as I havent found any reference to my problem. Incidentally I've had this problem since the middle of last year and whilst it didnt cause too much grief I am obviously not getting full value out of my Vista loaded setup. Ultimately I will try a reinstall of Vista (something I have never done before) but I get the feeling that the problem might reoccur when I alsao resinstall the various programmes, Photoshop, Office 2007 etc that may have caused the problem in the first place. Any of you nice people got any idea what might be wrong and alternatives to a reinstall? Incidentally when I access my pictures and click them open into Windows Photo Gallery, this goes smoothly but when I try to access Windows Photo Gallery direct I get a message referring to an error in "windows\system32\sqlcese30.dll"
Any clues, anybody. Thank You and sorry its so long winded.
