Good day all! I have Acrobat Reader 8. It is slow and a little cumbersome. I want to streamline some of the biggrer programs from my computer. Has any one heard of Foxit? It looks like it is much smaller (2.5mb vs 20mb) and easier. Any advice is appreciated.

A lot of us here use and recommend it. Much less bloated

I use Foxit almost exclusively for times I need to read a .pdf document. It seems much faster and has fewer errors opening files.

While I have adobe at the moment I'm considering switching back to foxit.

Good day all. Thanks for the input. I'll give it a go. Worst case, I go back.

You won't go back. You'll end up loving Foxit so much you'll be scrambling for instructions how to get rid of Adobe forever smile.gif, all of it, gone, for good.

Foxit is defintely the way to go. Slimmer, more options, etc.

One really nice feature is an instant text conversion for copy/paste. With Adobe, you need to copy the entire doc to a clipboard and then into your destination doc - Foxit is much more convenient. clapping.gif

I usually use Foxit too. However, there is occasionally a file that does not render properly in Foxit, and I have to use Adobe to see it properly. I keep Adobe on hand for those few occasions.
